Tritter
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tritter (“Tritter”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), developed by rtdura, handles information when you use the app or contact support. Tritter is a non-custodial crypto piggy bank: you hold your own keys, and we never take possession of your funds or your data.
No data collection
The app requires no registration, e-mail address, or phone number. We do not collect personal data, usage analytics, device identifiers, or crash reports. We operate no servers that store user data, and the app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Apple may provide aggregated crash reports, diagnostics, and usage information through App Store Connect, depending on your device privacy and analytics settings. This information is controlled by your iOS settings and Apple’s privacy policy.
Wallet keys stay on your device
Your private keys and 12-word seed phrase are generated on your device and stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain on that device, protected by device authentication. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
We have no access to your funds and cannot recover your seed phrase. If you delete the app or lose the device without a backup of your seed phrase, your funds cannot be restored by us or anyone else.
Blockchain interaction
To display balances and send transactions, the app communicates directly with public blockchain networks (such as TRON, via the TronGrid API) from your device.
Wallet addresses, balances, and transactions are, by the nature of public blockchains, permanently and publicly visible on-chain. This is a property of the blockchain itself, not a disclosure by us. Network requests made by the app are used only to service your actions in real time and are not logged or stored by us.
Service fees charged by the Tritter smart contract are executed on-chain and are disclosed in the app’s terms of service; they involve no collection of personal information.
Face ID / Touch ID
Biometric authentication is processed entirely by iOS on your device. The app only receives a success or failure result and never accesses biometric data.
Support requests
If you contact us by email, Telegram, or the support form on this website, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Your name;
- Your email address or Telegram account information;
- The contents of your message;
- Technical information or screenshots that you choose to include.
The website support form is processed using Netlify. Netlify may process form submissions and related technical information on our behalf. You can review Netlify’s Privacy Statement.
We use support information only to respond to your request, investigate problems, protect the service, and improve Tritter. We do not use support messages for marketing. Never include your seed phrase or private keys in a support message — we will never ask for them.
Support messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain relevant support records, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legitimate interests. You may ask us to delete your support correspondence unless we are legally required to retain it.
Information sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade any information — we have almost none to begin with.
The only parties that process information in connection with Tritter are:
- Apple, for App Store distribution, optional diagnostics, and platform services;
- Public blockchain node providers (such as TronGrid), which receive the network requests your device makes to read balances and broadcast your transactions;
- Netlify, for hosting this website and processing support-form submissions.
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of Tritter.
Data retention
Your piggy banks, wallet, and settings live on your device and remain entirely under your control; deleting the app removes them (your on-chain funds remain accessible with your seed phrase).
Blockchain records are public and permanent by design and cannot be deleted by us or by you.
Support information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control. In practice, the only personal information we may control is support correspondence you have sent us.
You can also:
- Delete the app and all its locally stored information at any time;
- Change Apple analytics permissions in iOS Settings;
- Contact us with a privacy request.
Children’s privacy
Tritter is not directed to children and is rated for adult users due to its cryptocurrency-related content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and gated by device authentication. Transactions are signed locally on your device. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for keeping your 12-word seed phrase written down in a safe place. Anyone with your seed phrase controls your funds.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Tritter features, service providers, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. If changes materially affect how information is processed, we will provide additional notice where required.
