Record+
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Record+ (“Record+”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), developed by rtdura, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app, its Apple Watch companion, or contact support.
Information stored on your device
Record+ is designed to keep your workout entries, exercises, personal records, and progress information primarily on your device.
If you enable iCloud synchronization, this information may be stored in and synchronized through your personal Apple iCloud account. Apple processes this information according to Apple’s privacy policy and your iCloud settings. rtdura does not operate its own servers for storing your workout history or personal records.
You can remove locally stored information by deleting entries inside the app or deleting the app. Information synchronized through iCloud may also need to be removed through your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Health and fitness information
With your explicit permission, Record+ may read from or write workout and fitness information to Apple HealthKit.
HealthKit information is used only to provide health and fitness features requested by you. We do not use HealthKit information for advertising, marketing, or user profiling. We do not sell HealthKit information or disclose it to data brokers.
You can review or revoke Record+ access to HealthKit at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Analytics and diagnostics
Record+ uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how the app is used and to improve its features, reliability, and user experience.
Firebase Analytics may process information such as:
- App interactions and feature usage;
- App version and operating-system version;
- Device type and general technical information;
- Country or general region;
- An automatically generated app-instance or installation identifier;
- Subscription-screen views and purchase-related events, such as whether a subscription purchase was completed. We do not receive your payment-card details.
This analytics information is not intended to identify you directly. Google may process this information on our behalf under its applicable privacy terms.
More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s information about data used by Firebase.
Apple may also provide aggregated crash reports, diagnostics, and usage information through App Store Connect, depending on your device privacy and analytics settings.
Subscriptions and purchases
Record+ offers auto-renewable subscriptions using Apple’s StoreKit and App Store payment system.
Apple processes purchases, billing information, payment methods, subscription status, refunds, and related transaction data. rtdura does not receive or store your full payment-card information.
The app may receive limited transaction information from Apple, such as the purchased product, subscription status, transaction identifier, and entitlement status, to unlock Record Pro features and restore purchases.
Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings. Apple’s processing of purchase information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Support requests
If you contact us by email, Telegram, or the support form, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Your name;
- Your email address or Telegram account information;
- The contents of your message;
- Technical information or screenshots that you choose to include.
The website support form is processed using Netlify. Netlify may process form submissions and related technical information on our behalf. You can review Netlify’s Privacy Statement.
We use support information only to respond to your request, investigate problems, protect the service, and improve Record+. We do not use support messages for unrelated marketing.
Support messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain relevant support records, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legitimate interests. You may ask us to delete your support correspondence unless we are legally required to retain it.
How we use information
We use information described in this policy to:
- Provide and maintain Record+ features;
- Synchronize information through services enabled by you;
- Verify subscriptions and unlock paid features;
- Restore purchases;
- Understand app usage and improve the user experience;
- Diagnose crashes, errors, and technical problems;
- Respond to support requests;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Information sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers only when necessary to operate the app and website, including:
- Apple, for iCloud, HealthKit, App Store purchases, subscriptions, diagnostics, and related platform services;
- Google Firebase, for app analytics;
- Netlify, for hosting the website and processing support-form submissions.
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.
We may also disclose information if required by law, a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of Record+.
International data processing
Apple, Google, and Netlify may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, these providers use legal safeguards for international data transfers.
Data retention
Workout information and personal records stored locally or in your iCloud account remain under your control and are retained according to your actions and Apple account settings.
Analytics information is retained according to the settings and retention periods used by Firebase and Apple.
Support information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can also:
- Delete workout information inside Record+;
- Delete the app and its locally stored information;
- Manage iCloud information through your Apple ID settings;
- Revoke HealthKit access in the Health app or iOS Settings;
- Change Apple analytics permissions in iOS Settings;
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID;
- Contact us with a privacy request.
Because much of the information used by Record+ is stored locally, in your iCloud account, or processed directly by Apple, we may not have access to all information associated with you.
Children’s privacy
Record+ is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. However, no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and other accounts used with Record+.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Record+ features, service providers, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. If changes materially affect how information is processed, we will provide additional notice where required.
